A motion graphic juxtaposing activity and motion in a city in comparison to underwater ecosystems. Janine Benyus’ book “Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature” encouraged the exploration of the subject matter. This was based on one of Benyus’ definitions of Biomimicry, “Nature As A Model.” Applying this definition to underwater ecosystems, the habitat and the inhabitants, the video looks at how these relate to the city and the movement of people within the city.
